Detroit Windsor International Film Festival
The Detroit Windsor International Film Festival (DWIFF), launched in 2008, is a publicly attended film festival held each June in the Detroit–Windsor region, with events taking place in both Detroit, Michigan, and Windsor, Ontario. The festival is closely associated with Wayne State University as they incorporated their own pre-existing student film festival into the DWIFF and many of the festivities are held on Wayne State's campus in Midtown Detroit.〔http://www.withoutabox.com/03film/03t_fin/03t_fin_fest_01over.php?festival_id=6091〕
